Palini has in its inside a Standard Room on an area of 60 sq.m.
A double air-conditioning system preserves the right temperature and dampness for the measuring and guarantees the perfect functionality inside the required parameters. (18°-22°C-1°C/h-2°C/24h)

The instruments are composed by:

- Measuring machine DEA GLOBAL STATUS with measuring range 1500x900x800
measuring “point to point” (head PH10MQ and tester TP200)
MPEE (1) = 2,9+L/250 µm MPEP (2) = 2,8µm;

- Measuring machine DEA GLOBAL IMAGE with measuring range 1000x700x500
possibility to carry out scanning reliefs (head PH10MQ and tester SP25). Besides, there are 10 thermal balance sensors on the machine and one sensor for the part.
MPEE (1) = 1,5+L/333 µm MPEP (2) = 1,7 µm MPETHP/t (3) = 3,4/120 µm;

The quality and trustfulness of the GLOBAL measuring machines are the results of the precision of the production technics, of the total quality procedures adopted by the company, of the rational interaction between the skilled staff and machineries and of the high technology certified systems, according to the application of the testing international standards ISO concerning the measuring machines.

The tests include the control of the maximum admissible error for the MPEE dimension measures, the control of the maximum admissible error of the MPEp point and the control of the maximum admissible error of the MPETHP/t point in scannig.

(1) MPEE = Indication error on a MDM on dimension measures according to the ISO 10360-2 standard, where L = distance measured in mm
(2) MPEp = point error according to the ISO 10360-2 standard
(3) MPETHP/t = scanning point error according to the ISO 10360-4 standard, only with testers SP600M-xe, SP25 e SP80.

Sylvac 300 digital altimeter on granite plane;
- Series of micrometers for inside and outside;
- Set of reaming meters;
- About 600 buffers pass/ not pass threaded and smooth parts of different size;
- Profilometer Mitutoyo;
- Graded lens;
- Electronic buffers and MARPOSS studs for the control in the production;
- Thousandth digital heads for the measure of precision boring parts;
- Control system for instruments calibration with method “Gage R&R” repeatability and reproducibility to test the suitability of an instrument at the measuring of a fixed dimension;
- Control of the processes through the statistic elaboration of data collected directly in production.
